328 bankruptcies filed in February in Finland

A total of 328 bankruptcy proceedings were instigated in February 2025, which is 14 fewer than in the corresponding period one year earlier, according to Statistics Finland.

The number of staff-years in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy totalled 1,252, which is 257 staff-years fewer than in February 2024.

In February 2025, the 12-month moving annual change in enterprises that filed for bankruptcy was seven per cent.

In the enterprises that filed for bankruptcy during the past 12 months the staff-years amounted to 14,015.

The number of bankruptcy petitions was highest in service industries and construction sector.
