Police probe into infant death by dog biting in Tampere

The police are investigating into the death of an infant in Tampere due to suspected dog biting, said police in a press release on Monday.

The three-month child was bitten by a dog in a private apartment in December last year resulting the death, said police after the preliminary investigation.

Police suspected the owner of the dog of murder.

Police, however, did not divulge details of the incident and the identities of the victim and the suspect as the investigation was still going on.
