3 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on Gaza

Three Palestinians were killed and at least 10 others injured on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, according to Palestinian security and medical sources, reported Xinhua.

The security sources told Xinhua that an Israeli drone fired at least two missiles at a group of Palestinians near the Abu Hussein school in the Jabalia camp.

Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital said the strike killed three people and wounded at least 10 others.

The Israeli military has not yet commented on the incident.

Meanwhile, Gaza-based health authorities reported in their daily update that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received nine bodies and 36 wounded people in the past 24 hours.

The authorities added that the total number of deaths since the ceasefire was declared in October last year has reached 1,296, with 4,296 wounded, bringing the overall death toll since Oct. 7, 2023, to 73,431.
