Small plane crash kills 13 in southern Peru

Thirteen people were killed Saturday after a small plane crashed in a farmland area about 6 km from the city of Nazca in Peru's southern Ica region, local media reported, said Xinhua.

According to preliminary reports, the victims included 11 tourists as well as the pilot and co-pilot.

Rescue workers and authorities have arrived at the crash site, and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the accident.
