Seven Palestinians, including Public Relations Director of the Egyptian Committee in the Gaza Strip Mohammed al-Waheidi, were killed and several others injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza on Tuesday, Palestinian sources said, reported Xinhua.

The attacks, consisting of drone fire and airstrikes, targeted Gaza City and southern Gaza's Khan Younis, the sources said.

The Israeli navy also detained seven Palestinian fishermen off the coast of central Gaza, according to Zakaria Bakr, coordinator of the Gaza Fishermen Committees Union.

The Israeli side has not commented on the reported attacks.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military said in a statement that it had killed Ahmed Yahya Ibrahim al-Batsh, commander of an elite Hamas cell, in a strike in northern Gaza two days earlier, and Hamouda Abu Daqqa, a Hamas military intelligence commander, in southern Gaza on Monday.

Also on Tuesday, Gaza-based health authorities said hospitals in the enclave received four bodies and 11 injured over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, to 1,076, with 3,474 injuries.

The overall death toll since the conflict began in October 2023 has reached 73,102, with 173,582 injuries, they added.
