In a separate incident, a 20-year-old Palestinian was killed by Israeli armored vehicle fire east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, an official at Al-Aqsa Hospital said.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army has continued demolishing homes in the eastern areas of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as in eastern Gaza City, according to Palestinian security sources.
