Pakistan forces kill 41 in Balochistan

Pakistan's Security forces have killed 41 alleged terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations in southwestern Balochistan province, the military said on Friday, reported Xinhua.
The operations were conducted on Jan. 29 following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in different areas of the province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, said in the statement.
In the first operation, carried out on the outskirts of Harnai district, security forces targeted a terrorist hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, 30 terrorists were killed, the statement said, adding that a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered and destroyed at the site.
In a separate operation in Panjgur district, security forces busted another terrorist hideout and killed 11 terrorists. Weapons, ammunition and looted cash were also recovered from the site, the military said.
The statement said the killed terrorists had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
