Israeli strikes and violations have killed 331 people and injured 945 in Lebanon since a cessation of hostilities agreement took effect a year ago, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said on Friday, reported Xinhua.

The figures cover the period from Nov. 28, 2024, shortly after the U.S. and French-brokered truce began, through Nov. 20, 2025.

In a statement, the ministry's Public Health Emergency Operations Center attributed the casualties to Israeli raids, attacks, and breaches of the agreement intended to end the fighting triggered by the war in Gaza.

While the truce formally ended full-scale combat, tensions have persisted. The Israeli military has continued periodic strikes in Lebanese territory, saying they are necessary to address immediate Hezbollah threats.

Israel has also maintained forces at five strategic points along the Lebanese border, missing a Feb. 18 deadline for a full withdrawal required by the agreement.
