Mortar round blast kills 3 in Afghanistan

Three persons were killed as a mortar round left over from past wars went off in Afghanistan's eastern Logar province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported on Thursday, said Xinhua.
The incident took place in Mohammad Agha district on Wednesday evening, killing three persons including a woman and two men on the spot, the news agency reported.
A similar blast claimed the lives of two children in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province last week.
