Blast kills 1, wounds 3 in Kabul

A blast rocked the Baraki area of Afghanistan's capital Kabul Saturday evening, killing one person and injuring three others, deputy to spokesman for Interior Ministry, Mohammad Ezam said, reported Xinhua.

According to the official, a gas cylinder accidentally exploded in a car, killing one civilian and injuring three others.

Eyewitnesses said that the blast took place close to the private Rana University in Baraki area of Police District 4 at 5:20 p.m. local time on Saturday, inflicting casualties.

It was the second blast in Kabul over the past two days.

Four people, including a religious scholar, sustained injuries in a blast in the capital city on Friday.
