4 killed as armed men open fire on car in Kabul

Four people were killed as unknown armed men sprayed bullets on a car of government employees in Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz said, reported Xinhua.

According to the official, the unidentified men opened fire on a car in Bagh-e-Daud area of Police District 5 at 09:20 a.m. local time, killing four persons on the spot.

All the victims are the employees of the Ministry for Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the official added.

This is the second violent incident in Kabul on Tuesday.

In the first incident, a mine targeting a vehicle in Police District 16 injured one person, police confirmed.
