Oman decides to open embassy in Palestine

Oman announced on Wednesday the decision to open an embassy in Palestine and send a diplomatic mission there.

"Oman has decided to send a new diplomatic mission to Palestine at the embassy level," a statement by Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The statement added that a delegation from the ministry "will travel to Ramallah to start procedures to open the embassy."
