Manchester City won 3-2 at home to Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon to make it seven wins from seven matches, maintaining its perfect start to the Premier League season, reported Xinhua.

Phil Foden put City ahead in the 19th minute, but Daizen Maeda leveled for Ipswich two minutes later. Erling Haaland then struck twice, in the 34th and 69th minutes, to restore and extend City's lead. Zian Flemming converted a penalty for Ipswich in stoppage time to make the final scoreline 3-2.

Liverpool came from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 away. Keane Lewis-Potter gave Brentford the lead in the 44th minute. Brentford was reduced to 10 men in first-half stoppage time when Yehor Yarmolyuk was sent off for headbutting Liverpool defender Jeremy Jacquet.

Victor Munoz equalized for Liverpool in the 62nd minute, and Alexander Isak headed home the winner in the 70th minute from a Bradley Barcola delivery. Brentford's afternoon worsened in stoppage time when Vitaly Janelt received a second yellow card, leaving the hosts with nine men.

Chelsea continued its positive run after the international break with a 2-0 win at Everton. Pedro Neto scored both goals, opening the scoring early in the second half and sealing the victory in the 90th minute. Everton struggled to create clear-cut chances.

Alex Iwobi's first-half goal gave Fulham its first win of the campaign, a 1-0 home triumph over Hull City, easing some of the pressure on coach Alvaro Arbeloa.

Aston Villa recorded a 1-0 win at Newcastle United, its fourth victory in five matches in all competitions, with Johan Manzambi's 36th-minute header proving decisive at St James' Park.
