Finland score 2nd consecutive victory beating Hungary 4-1

Finland scored the second consecutive victory in the Ice Hockey World championship against Hungary at Swiss Life Arena in Zurich, Switzerland on Saturday afternoon.

The Lions, who completely dominated in the match over Hungary and beat the underdog team by 4 goals to 1.

Although the first period of the match ended goalless draw, Ville Heinola scored at the first minute of the second period and took the 1-0 lead for Finland.

Jesse Puljujarvi widened the gap within a span of less than three minutes and continued to create pressure on the Hungarians.

But Hungary tried to come back and Balazs Sebok scored first goal for the country to narrow down the gap to 2-1 but failed to uphold the competition as Janne Kuokkanen scored the third goal for Finland in the same period.

Finland continued the pressure from the beginning of third period and Jesse Puljujarvi scored again during a power play at the third minute in the third period ensuring the 4-1 victory for the team.

Finland will face USA in their third group match on Monday.

Earlier on Friday, the Lions beat Germany by 3-1.
