A delegation of 102 Finnish athletes will participate in the upcoming 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics scheduled to be held in Italy from February 6 to 22, the Finnish Olympic Committee announced on Friday.

The board of the Finnish Olympic Committee completed the selection process adding 37 athletes in the final round, said the committee in a press release.

The 102-member delegation included 48 ice hockey players of both the male and female teams and athletes who will compete in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, freestyle skiing, Nordic combined, snowboarding and figure skating.

Still there is a little chance to add additional places in some sports, which will be considered on case-by-case basis, said team leader Janne Hänninen.

The committee is expecting six medals for the country in the Olympic games this year.
