Manchester City slipped six points behind Arsenal in the Premier League title race after a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea on Sunday, reported Xinhua.
After the departure of coach Enzo Maresca, Chelsea put on a battling display while City had limited chances. Although Tijjani Reijnders opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, City's second goal failed to arrive.
Chelsea pressed hard in the closing minutes and was rewarded in the 94th minute when Enzo Fernandez scored a simple finish.
Liverpool and Fulham both had injury time goals in a 2-2 draw at Craven Cottage.
Former Liverpool forward Harry Wilson put Fulham ahead in the 17th minute, before Florian Wirtz equalized 12 minutes into the second half.
Cody Gakpo looked to have won the game for Liverpool with his 94th-minute strike, but the Reds' defense creaked again when Harrison Reed equalized with a powerful shot three minutes later.
Leeds United and Manchester United fought out an intense 1-1 draw at Elland Road.
Brenden Aaronson scored with his left foot in the 62nd minute as the United defense came up short, while Matheus Cunha made it 1-1 three minutes later and went close to a winner soon afterwards when he hit the outside of the post.
Brentford continues to climb the table with a 4-2 win away to Everton. Igor Thiago notched a hat-trick and Nathan Collins also scored for Brentford, while Beto pulled a goal back for Everton and Thierno Barry netted another in injury time.
Newcastle United took advantage of Crystal Palace's tired legs, as goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Malick Thiaw in the last 20 minutes gave Eddie Howe's side a 2-0 win at St James' Park.
Tottenham Hotspur was held to a 1-1 draw at home by Sunderland, with Brian Brobbey's 80th-minute goal canceling out Ben Davies' opener for Tottenham in the 30th minute.
