Finnish men basketball team qualified to semi-finals of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 on Wednesday beating Georgia by 93-79 in the quarter final in Riga, Latvia.
Finland will face Germany in the semi-final on Friday.
Thursday’s result created enthusiasm among the Finns who are now eying trophy just after victories in the next two matches.
Finland reached the semi-finals in the EuroBasket after 16 years.
They secured 16th place in 2015 and improved the position to 11th in 2017.
Finland further improved to 7th place in 2022.
