Finland beat Kazakhstan in WC qualifier

Host Finland scored its first victory in the World Cup qualifier for 2022 as they beat Kazakhstan by a solitary goal in Helsinki on Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen striker Joel Pohjanpalo ensured the victory for Finland when he scored at the 60th minute of the match.
Like the winning goal against Denmark in the European Championship, Pohjanpalo scored against Kazakhstan from a crossing pass given by Jere Uronen.
This victory took place at third place in the Group D with five points behind France and Ukraine and ahead of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kazakhstan at this moment.
Earlier, in two previous matches drew with Bosnia-Herzegovina by 2-2 and Ukraine by 1-1.
Kazakhstan still with 2 points in Group. Finland will face France on Tuesday.
