Italy secured the last Olympic men's basketball ticket by beating Serbia 102-95 in the final of the qualifying tournament here on Sunday, reported Xinhua.
Italy prevailed thanks to 21 points and 8 rebounds from Simone Fontecchio, along with 24 points from Nicolo Mannion and 22 points from Achille Polonara.
In the semifinals, Italy had beaten the Dominican Republic 79-59, while Serbia eliminated Puerto Rico 102-84.
