Espoo to expand paid parking areas in Tapiola, Otaniemi

The City of Espoo is further expanding paid parking areas in October as per the decision made by the City Board in March, said the city in a press release on Friday.

The city will start updating traffic signs in October in the Tapiola and Otaniemi areas.

Motorists are told to check traffic signs when parking, as the parking fees will take effect immediately once the signs have been replaced.

Parking costs will be €3.50 per hour in zone 1 and €2.50 per hour in zone 2.

Parking fees will be charged from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00. On Saturdays from 8:00 to 18:00 and, in zone 1, also on Sundays from 8:00 to 18:00.

There are traffic signs in the areas to indicate the hours when parking fees apply. Parking is free of charge and permitted without time limitation at other times.
