1 killed after falling from roof in Tampere

One person was killed after falling from the roof of a building in Tampere on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place at about 5:00 p.m. at Kaukajärvi area in the city.

Responding to an alarm police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and recovered the body.

Police did not disclose detail about the incident and the identity of the deceased.

Police are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the incident.

At the preliminary stage, police did not suspect any crime link to the death.
