Video accusing PM of ´genocide´ shared widely

The Iranian state news agency IRNA shared a video in social media where a man accused Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo of genocide.

The video shared in the social media account X of the agency on Thursday, was viewed 274000 times till late Friday night.

“How do you feel after mass killing of Gazans? 370 million euros worth of aid to Israel? Do you know that Israel has killed 4,000 children so far?” IRNA wrote in the post in with the headline “an activist shouting at the radical Finnish PM.”

The man repeatedly told loudly "4,000 children".

According to Yle, the incident took place on Monday at a coffee shop in Turku and in the video of 22 seconds, the man accused Orpo of genocide in Finnish language referencing to the recently signed €317m air defence purchase deal with Israel.

Yle, quoting a government security official, Ahti Kurvinen said that the video footage is genuine and Orpo was in the café as a customer.

"A security guard blocked the man as he approached the Prime Minister," said the Yle report, quoting Kurvinen as saying, adding that the man was handed over to police.
