Finland censures Russia´s move to annex areas of Ukraine

President Sauli Niinistö and Prime Minister Sanna Marin on Thursday strongly condemned the Russia´s move to annex four more areas of Ukraine after self-styled so-called referenda.
They also said that Finland will not recognise the illegal sham referenda or annexations.
“I say this again: The so-called “referenda” do not effect Ukraine’s borders, they don’t change the map. Ukraine’s sovereignty and territory is indivisible and inviolable. Finland will not recognise the results of the illegal referenda or annexations,” Niinistö wrote in his twitter post late Thursday night.
“Finland condemns in strongest possible terms any attempt by Russia to annex territories that are part of Ukraine. Russia’s illegal sham referenda will never be recognized,” Marin wrote in her twitter.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to hold a signing ceremony on Friday to annex four Ukrainian regions after the so-called d referendums.
Russian-backed officials had earlier claimed that the referendums gained support from almost population in the regions.
So-called referendums took place in Luhansk and Donetsk in the east, and in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson in the south parts in Ukraine.
