Helsinki to keep elderly activities closed from Friday

The City of Helsinki will close the day activities for the elderly and supported group activities from 31 December against the backdrop of worsening coronavirus situation, said the city in a press release on Wednesday.

The day and group activities will remain closed at least until 10 January 2022 and the authority will inform the clients as soon as they know more about the exact opening dates of the services.

The City will try to find alternative ways of communication for those needing the most support and will later contact these clients personally, the press release added.
