1 burnt to death in Rovaniemi house fire

One person was killed in a fire at a detached house at Muurola in Rovaniemi early Saturday night, said the police in a press release on Sunday.

The fire broke out at the night and engulfed the single house immediately.

Police and Rescue service personnel rushed to the spot responding to a call and recovered the body of the deceased from the debris.

The police are investigating the incident to find out the reason behind the origin of the fire.

The police, however, did not divulge any more details in this regard.
