President to visit France on Tuesday

President Sauli Niinistö will make a working visit to France and meet his France counterpart Emmanuel Macron in Paris on Tuesday, said the President office in a press release on Monday.

At the meeting, scheduled to be held at the French President’s official residence, the Presidents will discuss, among other things, bilateral relations, European security and defence policy, great power relations and the spirit of Helsinki, and climate change.

During the visit, President Niinistö will also meet President of the Constitutional Council of France Laurent Fabius as well as French researchers and experts in international politics, the press release added.
