1 killed in road mishap at Utajärvi

One person was killed in a road accident at Utajärvi in Northern Ostrobothnia region on Saturday morning.
Police said that the accident took place at about 5:30 am when a private car skidded off on the road named Ouluntie and fell into a roadside ditch.
The driver, a youth from Oulu, who was alone in the car died on the spot.
Police, after the preliminary investigation suspected that the car was over speeding at that time violating the speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour and the vehicle was damaged completely.
Details about the accident and the deceased could not be known immediately.
The police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the case.
