1 held in Espoo for attempted murder

One person sustained wounds after miscreant stabbed the person in an apartment house at Matinkylä area in Espoo on Sunday morning, said the Western Uusimaa police on Monday.

Police arrested one person on charge of attempted murder in connection with the incident.

Responding to an alarm police rushed to the spot and found the wounded person in a critical condition. The victim, about 50 years old person was taken to hospital for treatment.

After the incident police arrested one person from the locality,

Members of the law enforcing agency also picked up three other suspects from the area but two of them were released on Sunday and the rest one was released on Monday after preliminary interrogations.

The main suspect, who is now in custody now is about 50 years old and police are investigating into the case as attempted murder.
