Large amphetamine seized in Imatra

The South East Finland police on Wednesday revealed that they seized a car with a huge cache of amphetamine in Imatra back in February, said a police bulletin.
The preliminary investigation revealed a wider drug offence. The main suspect is a member of the motorcycle club Hells Angels MC Carelia. The 26-year-old suspect was driving the car without a driving license.
The man was remanded in custody in suspicion of aggravated drug offence.
The prosecution established that the suspect acquired amphetamine from a 37-year-old man from Savonlinna, who according to the police belongs to the Hells Angels MC Carelia motorcycle club in Lappeenranta.
The case will move to prosecution in the next few days.The main suspect is still in custody.
