1 held after robbery at Oulainen shop

An alleged bandit was held after a robbery took place at a shop at Oulainen area in Northern Ostrobothnia region on Sunday afternoon.

Police said that the bandit entered into the shop and took cash from the cashier at gunpoint and left the scene.

The law enforcing agency conducted an extensive search at the locality and arrested the suspect, a middle-aged man immediately after the incident.

Police also recovered the snatched money from the possession of the detainee and sent him to custody.

Police are investigating into the incident a robbery.
