Kaartinen made Migri communication director

National Bureau of Investigation’s communication head Klaus Kaartinen has been appointed as Director of Communications of the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri), said a press release.
The authority selected him among 26 candidates, who applied for the position.
Kaartinen is leaving the post of Head of Communications with the NBI to join the Finnish Immigration Service.
Kaartinen has worked for the National Bureau of Investigation since 1999.
The post of Director of Communications is new within the Finnish Immigration Service.
The Director of Communications will lead and develop the Finnish Immigration Service's Customer Relations and Communications Unit.
Kaartinen will take over the charge on September 1, the press release added.
