Turku University warns of phishing scam

The University of Turku on Monday warned that phishing emails were sent to different companies in Finland in the name of the university, said a press release.

The title of the email mentioned a call for tenders (tarjouspyyntö in Finnish) containing an attached file of a malware.

The email suggested that the sender is the University of Turku, and the email address of the sender ends with @utu.fi.

The university authorities said it has no link and nothing to do with these emails.
