Reservists daily allowance goes up from August

The government has decided to increase the daily allowance for the reservists from the beginning of August, said a press release of the Ministry of Defence on Friday.

Reservist daily allowance will be EUR 61.44 from the existing amount of EUR 60.10 for the rank and file, EUR 64.52 from the existing amount of EUR 62.80 for non-commissioned officers (NCOs), and EUR 67.59 from the existing EUR 65.85 for the officers, according to the decision of the Ministry of Defence.

The daily allowance for the reservists has been increased after two years.

Reservist pay was previously adjusted by an amendment of decree on 6 July 2018, the press release added.
