The City of Helsinki will start COVID vaccinations for people over 80 and those significantly immune insufficient on Tuesday, said the city in a press release on Monday.

The people of the stipulated groups will be able to receive COVID-19 vaccinations at the health centres from September 17 to 27.

The people were also asked bring Kela card or ID card along with them at the time of vaccination.

They were also urged to book an appointment for the influenza vaccination in November. The influenza vaccination appointments are already available for booking.

COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations will be provided to 75–79-year-olds from September 30 to October 11.

Vaccinations are provided at select health stations and only by appointment. Reservations will be open on September 17 on Maisa and a separate telephone service for appointments.
