Thirty-three people were killed and 18 others injured in Russia's strikes Thursday on the frontline city of Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine, the State Service for Emergencies reported, said Xinhua.
The attacks hit a passenger bus in the city, causing 30 deaths and sparking a fire, the agency said in a statement. In Kramatorsk's Bilenke area, three more were killed in the Russian strikes.
Meanwhile, a drone attack on a Yandex data center in Russia's Ryazan region on Thursday caused a fire and forced the facility to suspend operations, disrupting some of the company's digital services in Russia, Yandex said, while Russian authorities attributed the attack to Ukraine.
The fire broke out at Yandex's data center in the town of Sasovo following the attack, affecting part of the facility's infrastructure, said Yandex, a leading Russian technology company.
No injuries were reported, but the operation of the data center was completely halted, the company said.
Specialists were working to restore the affected systems.
Separately, Russian users also reported temporary disruptions to other internet services, banking platforms and telecommunications networks.
