Sanliurfa Governor Hasan Sildak said on social media platform X that the flight of Turkish airline AJet departed Ankara at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT) and landed at Sanliurfa GAP Airport at 8:05 p.m., carrying 136 passengers and seven crew members.

Sildak noted that passengers and crew would be safely evacuated before security units searched the plane for possible explosives.
