Ukrainian attack damages railway tracks, Russia strikes Kiev data centers

A Ukrainian attack damaged railway tracks along the Trosna-Rzhanitsa section in Russia's Bryansk region as a train was passing through, regional governor Yegor Kovalchuk said Tuesday, reported Xinhua.

Traffic in the affected area has been suspended, and a repair crew has begun restoration work, Kovalchuk said, adding that there were no casualties.

The press service of the Moscow Railway said train traffic on the Rzhanitsa-Trosna section was temporarily suspended.

The incident came a day after a railway bridge partially collapsed in the Bryansk region following a Ukrainian drone attack.

Meanwhile, Russian forces struck the Bi-mobile and Parkovyi data centers in Kiev and a locomotive depot housing a warehouse of FP-5 Flamingo missiles in overnight attacks, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

The Belogorodka warehouse terminal used for the production and storage of drones was also struck in the Kiev region, the ministry said. In the Odesa region, strikes targeted the Usatovo electrical substation supplying power to Ukrainian port infrastructure and a drone production workshop in Velikodolinskoye.

On the maritime front, infrastructure used to unload military cargo was struck at the port of Izmail. At the port of Odesa, a dry cargo ship carrying military equipment was hit, while another vessel was struck while en route to the port, the ministry said.

In a separate statement, the ministry said Russian forces intercepted 129 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions overnight.
