3 killed in Istanbul currency exchange shooting

Three people were killed and one injured in a shooting at a currency exchange office in Istanbul's Fatih district on Tuesday, Turkish media reported, said Xinhua.

According to media reports, the operator of the exchange office and a customer argued over a suspected debt dispute on Tuesday afternoon. The confrontation escalated into gunfire.

Police and emergency services rushed to the scene, taking the injured to hospital. Police detained one suspect, and an investigation is underway.
