Boeing 737 cargo plane overruns runway after landing in Russia's Norilsk

A Boeing 737 cargo aircraft operated by Russia's S7 Airlines overran the runway after landing at an airport in Norilsk, Russia's Krasnoyarsk region, the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office said Saturday, reported Xinhua.

According to preliminary information, the aircraft, which was operating a flight from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport to Norilsk, went beyond the runway after landing, the prosecutor's office said in an online statement.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Novosibirsk Transport Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the airline's compliance with flight safety regulations, according to the statement.
