3 of a same family dead in suspected homicide in Germany

A man, a woman, and a child were found dead in a single-family home near the southern German city of Nuremberg, police said on Sunday, adding that the case is being investigated as a suspected homicide, reported Xinhua.

A witness found them in a detached house and alerted authorities at around noon, according to local media. Police have not yet confirmed whether the three victims were members of the same family, as formal identification is still pending.

A wide area around the property has been cordoned off as investigations continue.
