Avalanche kills 2 in Slovakia

An avalanche killed two people on Friday morning in Slovakia's northeastern Presov Region, the News Agency of the Slovak Republic reported, said Xinhua.

Police said the incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. local time (1000 GMT) in the Zlomiskova Valley near Tupa Peak. The victims were two foreign nationals.

Authorities said investigations were ongoing and no further details were available.
