Putin wins in Russian inevitable Presidential poll

Russia's incumbent President Vladimir Putin wins with 87.3 percent of votes in the presidential elections after 99.83 percent of ballots were counted, showed the latest data from the Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) on Monday, reported Xinhua.
Communist Party candidate Nikolai Kharitonov is in second place with 4.31 percent. Vladislav Davankov from Russia's New People Party has received 3.83 percent of the votes, and Leonid Slutsky, head of the Liberal Democratic Party, has secured 3.21 percent of the votes, showed the data.
The Russian presidential elections were held for three days from March 15 to 17. Under Russian presidential election regulations, a candidate who receives more than 50 percent of the votes will secure victory.
After the election Putin will rule until at least 2030, when he will be 77. Russia’s longest-serving leader since Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin, he will secure a third full decade of rule.
