Fuel prices continue to rise in Finland in Sept

Average prices of liquid fuels increased in September 2026 compared to the prior month, according to Statistics Finland.
The average price with taxes for diesel was EUR 2.4 and for petrol 95, EUR 2.3 per litre.
The equivalent average price for petrol 98 was EUR 2.4 and for light fuel oil EUR 2.0.
The annual change of the average price for diesel was 49.1 per cent in September 2026 while the annual change of the average price for petrol 95 was 30.1 per cent and for petrol 98 was 28.4 per cent.
The annual change of the average price for light fuel oil was 64.2 per cent.
The monthly change of the average price was biggest for light fuel oil (13.5%) and smallest for petrol 98 (7.3%).
