Prices of old dwellings drop by 2.4% in October

The prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 2.4 per cent year-on-year across the entire country in October 2025, according to Statistics Finland.
The prices, however, remained unchanged compared with the previous month.
Prices declined in all large towns relative to a year ago. Prices declined most in Espoo (6.6%) and in Vantaa (6.4%).
Prices decreased by 2.5 per cent in the six largest towns and by 2.2 per cent outside large towns in October 2025 compared with the previous year.
In Greater Helsinki, prices of old dwellings in housing companies decreased by 3.1 per cent from the previous year and by 0.3 per cent compared with the previous month.
In the whole country, prices of dwellings in blocks of flats decreased by 3.1 per cent and prices of dwellings in terraced houses by 0.7 per cent compared with the previous year.
In October, 4 per cent more sales of old dwellings in blocks of flats and terraced houses were made through real estate agents than one year earlier.
