Nokian Tyres terminates 35 employees

Finnish tyres production company Nokian Tyres decided to termination 35 permanent white-collar positions, said the company in a press release on Monday.

The company concluded the negotiations involving white-collar employees in Group functions and all business units, as well as both blue- and white-collar employees in passenger car and heavy tire production in Nokia, Finland.

In addition, the company will take restructuring measures that will be implemented by the end of 2025.

The adjustment measures also included temporary layoffs of about 650 blue-collar and white-collar employees in passenger car and heavy tire production in Nokia, Finland for a maximum period of 90 days per person by the end of 2026.

The negotiations in Finland were part of its austerity measures announced on October 28, 2025.
