Malta based company RecruitGiant which specializes in recruitment of workers from non-EU countries, is planning to commence its operations in Finland as a part of its Northern Europe expansion plan along with Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, said a press release.

“We see Finland as a potential center of our Northern European operations. Our company’s strategy is well timed and corresponds with the existing demand of foreign workers in Finland and the Baltic States. Particularly we base our estimations and prospects on the Finnish government’s announcements that the country must double its immigration to deal with employee shortages and potential pension deficit. Besides Finland’s Ministry has announced that migration has become a part of country’s growth and is expected to increase in the coming years. Moreover, recent public notifications of Finland Chamber of Commerce have created a sense of urgency - apparently it is crucial to solve the employment crises in the next few months so that industries can continue their daily business activities without any disruption. UK case, when staff shortages have even lead to disruption of food chain and potentially – empty supermarket shelves, should make us more cautious and prepared to deal with those challenges,” says Tomas Mikalauskas, CEO of RecruitGiant.

In order to prepare for the Finnish market and satisfy the existing demand, the company has approached Finland Chamber of Commerce with cooperation offer and asked to provide information on the deficit of workforce from different industries, in particular, what skills and qualifications are the most needed.

“Finland has always been a focal point of Nordic business innovations and skilled workforce is a crucial point of achievements and innovations. Many Finnish companies are now planning to recruit foreign specialists in near future, but staff needs to be skilled and qualified, and hence the question arises – how to meet that demand timely? At present, industries need an immediate solution and lack time to provide long-term employee training programs before commencing work. Therefore, the future of recruitment companies is to ensure the availability of already well-trained employees which is our company’s specialization,” concludes T.Mikalauskas.

RecruitGiant focuses on ensuring a high-quality workforce for businesses throughout Europe by preparing specialists in their home countries. Company provides training facilities across India, which are managed through an affiliation with the country’s National Skills Development Corporation within the Ministry for Skills.
