Turnover in industry grows in April

The working day adjusted turnover in industry grew by 11.4 per cent in April 2021 compared with April 2020, according to Statistics Finland.

The development was partly due to the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus one year earlier.

According to the preliminary data, the seasonally adjusted turnover in industry grew in April 2021 by 2.4 per cent compared to March.

In March, seasonally adjusted turnover decreased by 0.1 per cent, while in February, turnover was 2.6 per cent higher than in the month before.
