Nightless night comes to end in Utsjoki

The end of nightless nights was experienced in the centre of Utsjoki on Saturday night,reported national broadcaster Yle.

The sun set in Utsjoki for the first time in 72 days.

The night, however, did not last for long as the sun was not visible for just over an hour from 0:46-1:52.

Nightless night is a time when the sun does not set below the horizon.
