Stubb, Zelenskyy discuss US-Ukraine peace talk over phone

President Alexander Stubb and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday held a telephone conversation and discussed about the Ukraine´s preparation for the peace talks with United States.
“Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed Alexander Stubb on what the Ukrainian delegation is preparing for in the talks in the United States, as well as signals received from the American side,” said the President Office of Ukraine in a press release.
Zelenskyy also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support and almost daily coordination.
The leaders exchanged information on various aspects of Russia’s position and assessments of current diplomatic prospects.
Zelenskyy noted that this week will involve a lot of work with partners in Europe, and it is important that everyone shares the same view of the situation and the understanding that pressure on Russia, as the sole cause of this war, can genuinely work for peace.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff on Sunday held talks with a Ukrainian delegation in Hallandale Beach, Florida as Washington pushes for a revised peace plan to end the Ukraine crisis, reported Xinhua.
