Man killed in road mishap in Joensuu

One person was killed in a road accident in Mulonväylä area of Joensuu early Sunday, said the police. The accident took place at about 1:00 AM when a speeding van skidded off the road and fell into a nearby area.
The driver of the van, a man of 30-40 years from Joensuu died on the spot.
There was no other passenger in the vehicle at that time.
The police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating the accident.
The police said they will disseminate more detailed information in this regard later.
